Living Challenges

Living Challenges are real-world actions inspired by the symbolic universe of the More Humano Codex.
They are not games in the traditional sense, but structured invitations—designed to activate thought through movement, tension, and gesture.

They are entirely optional. You can take part as an individual or within a group.
There is no need to “join” anything. You simply choose a challenge and do it.

📦 How they work

Each challenge is:

  • Numbered in the order it was conceived. There is no required sequence.
  • Assigned a Level of intensity:
    • 🟢 Seed – Small, reflective, personal
    • 🔵 Shift – Interactive, habit-breaking, slightly disruptive
    • 🔴 Rift – Deep, challenging, socially or internally disorienting
  • Connected to an Inspiration: a character, object, place, or crystal from the More Humano Codex.
    This serves as a symbolic anchor—not a rulebook. The Codex is referenced, not obeyed.
  • Given a set of Instructions—a specific, real-world action to complete.
  • Linked to the Logbook, where your participation and result can be recorded by emailing info@morehumano.com. Use your name, a nickname, or stay anonymous.
  • Optionally tied to a Reward, available only on request. Each reward is symbolic and unique—given only to those listed in the Logbook.

🧠 Meaning is not provided

Unlike More Humano Rituals, Living Challenges do not come with built-in meaning.

There is no interpretation guide. No suggested outcome.
Each person brings their own perspective, and builds meaning through action.

The Codex serves as an influence, not a framework to decode.

Where Rituals are deeply symbolic acts, tied to the internal architecture of More Humano,
Living Challenges are outward-facing. They are meant to be played, lived, tested—not fully understood.

You’re not here to find the right answer.
You’re here to move, try, observe, and maybe get something wrong on purpose.

📚 Logbook & Rewards

The Logbook is an open registry of participants.
It’s not public, but it tracks those who engage with the challenges.

To be included, send an email to info@morehumano.com, indicating:

  • the challenge number in the subject
  • the result of your attempt (as brief or detailed as you like) and/or any personal note
  • your full name, a nickname, or “anonymous” as you like.

If you’re in the Logbook, you can also request a Reward.
Rewards are symbolic artifacts, digital or conceptual. They are not guaranteed and must be actively asked for.

Rewards exist as symbolic reminders—a way to acknowledge that you completed something, even if it didn’t change you. You can request one, or create your own. The important thing is that you decide what it meant.

🧾 Notes

  • Challenges can be repeated, reinterpreted, or altered—at your own risk.
  • Some may feel pointless, absurd, or quiet. That’s intentional.
  • You don’t need to believe in anything to play. Just move.
