more humano.

What distinguishes humans is existential creativity: the expression of lived experience through the construction of meanings and forms that seek a shared dimension.

To exist and live in a human way means to experience the sense of existence in a subjective, multifaceted, fragmented manner, incapable of completeness yet in need of expression.

Sharing meaning through the expression of one’s own lived experience in subjective forms becomes the most human act.

The human essence is not only the act itself, but a lived experience that resonates within one’s inner world and suggests:

Live existence
Explore in depth
Create meaning
Share it in your own form

This space gathers some expressions of form by a human who has constructed their own meanings without any ambition for correctness, precision, or completeness, but rather with the desire to express them and the hope of resonating in others.

📚 Meaning

The expression “more humano” comes from the combination of more, the ablative of mos (custom, manner, way), and humano, the ablative of humanus (human, of man). Its literal Latin translation is “according to the human way” or “in the human manner”, but its meaning extends beyond a mere description of an action performed by human beings.

In the context of the Latin language, this expression was used to refer to actions, habits, and customs that were distinctly human, as opposed to what was considered divine, animalistic, or, in a contemporary sense, mechanical. Acting more humano implied awareness, intentionality, and a capacity for choice unique to human beings, distinguishing them through their inclination toward reflection, storytelling, and the construction of meaning.

The foundation upon which meaning is struck, refined, and shaped. A fixed point, enduring each blow without breaking, symbolizing the ability to withstand transformation without dissolving. It represents the confrontation with reality: one cannot escape the weight of existence, but one can choose how to shape it. A symbol of discipline and individual responsibility in the construction of a personal meaning.

And precisely because it is a symbol, it presupposes the desire to share it. A symbol is never closed in itself: it is born from an inner experience, but it reaches its fulfillment only when it is offered to others, when it becomes a bridge between one interiority and another. In this way, meaning is not only forged for oneself, but opened to resonance, recognition, and communion.

💠 Origins

The origins are to be found in the disorientation of a child, in the sense of alienation surrounding identity and meaning of a young person, in the search for systems created by others to cling to. Then, in the renunciation and disappointment of having found nothing perfect, and in the abandonment of the very idea of finding it. In the curious and open experience of many different systems, leading to the conclusion that this entire process itself represents the human path, with the desire to document it in the most human way possible: intimate, imperfect, creative.

👁 Purpose

My vision is that this attitude can offer anyone an orientation, a way of inhabiting their own life with greater presence and awareness. Not as a model to imitate, but as an invitation to live more intentionally: to listen to what moves within, to deepen one’s experience, to transform it into something meaningful, and to give it back to the world in the form that feels most natural.

At times, More Humano may seem naïve in its expressions; at other times excessively pompous, pseudo-intellectual, artistic, or even banal in someone’s eyes. But this, too, is part of its nature. It does not seek an ideal or universally valid form; rather, it embraces contradictions, simplicity, excess, and imperfection as integral parts of being human. Each expression, whatever judgment it may provoke, reflects a real facet of the person who created it.

It is a way of not passing through existence passively, but of inhabiting it. Of recognizing that every experience can become living material for understanding, and that every understanding can become gesture, expression, and sharing. In this sense, it is not only a personal path, but a possibility open to everyone: to give direction to one’s life through listening, responsibility, and creativity.
