– A dimension to inhabit and transform
🧭 What is More Humano?
More Humano is a narrative-existential project—an open ecosystem dedicated to the creation of meaning.
It is not a product to be consumed, but a dimension to inhabit—a space where storytelling, reflection, and imagination merge to shape a renewed relationship with existence.
It is a radically participatory, open, symbolic, and transformative space.
More Humano is a narrative meta-framework (the Codex), supported by a philosophical reflection on meaning (the Manifesto), offered as a dynamic and participatory environment that enables and encourages existential exploration and the personal creation of meaning.
- It’s an open narrative meta-framework, not a closed story
- It invites co-creation, not passive consumption
- It is built on symbols, archetypes, rituals, and concepts to construct meaning
- It is guided by an existential manifesto, not ideology
- It is a space where participants become creators of meaning
🕶 Meaning
The expression “more humano” comes from the combination of “more”, meaning way, manner, according to the custom of, and “humano”, the ablative of humanus, meaning of man, human. The latin literal translation would be “according to the human way”, but its meaning extends beyond a mere description of an action performed by human beings.
In the context of the Latin language, a similar expression was used to refer to actions, habits, and customs that were distinctly human, as opposed to what was considered divine, animalistic, or mechanical. The “modus humanus” implied awareness, intentionality, and a capacity for choice unique to human beings, distinguishing them through their inclination for reflection, storytelling, and the construction of meaning.
🧩The project
Today, More Humano embodies precisely this intent: to devote deep attention to the creation of meaning, bringing back to the forefront the human faculty of interpreting and redefining one’s relationship with existence. The essence of being human is not merely found in biological existence but in the unique ability to give meaning to one’s life and the world, actively constructing significance.
To construct meaning means to reclaim the power to question, to imagine provisional yet authentic answers, to weave new inquiries, and to share ever-evolving perspectives.
More Humano is not just a storytelling platform—it is a space for existential exploration, where narratives do not provide answers but instead provoke thought, inspire, and offer new lenses through which to view the world. It rejects dogmas and experiments with new forms of language, allowing human beings to reclaim their ability to construct answers free from preconceptions.
It is an invitation to explore, create, and share meanings, making the experience of existence more authentic and conscious.
📖 More Humano Codex: Narrative Meta-Framework
More Humano is built upon a structured yet open narrative system, called the More Humano Codex.
An open and modular system that offers:
- Symbols, characters, dwellings, rituals, and narrative objects
- A space that is coherent yet flexible, designed to build personal stories
- A living archive, continuously evolving through interaction and reinterpretation
More Humano does not impose a single narrative; instead, it offers a structured space of meaning that allows contributors to assemble, modify, and expand narratives while maintaining coherence.
A collection of symbolic, real, and narrative ingredients—the raw materials from which stories emerge. The Codex does not dictate, but provides; it is not a script, but a reservoir of meaning waiting to be woven into something new..
More Humano is not a book to be read, but a dimension to be inhabited and transformed. Meaning is generated through interaction, reinterpretation, and the continuous evolution of this archive. Participants are not just readers or writers—they are creators of meaning.

📜 More Humano Manifesto: tracing the foundations of meaning
While the Codex provides the tools to shape meaning, the More Humano Manifesto serves as a map tracing the existential categories that structure our perception of significance, identity, and reality itself.
A living document that:
- Explores fundamental existential categories
- Proposes storytelling as a creative and transformative practice
- Invites a personal and fluid approach to spirituality
- Offers a path to rediscover and redefine one’s inner reality
At the core of the Manifesto lies the understanding that certain existential categories hold the greatest significance—themes that have shaped human narratives across history and continue to define our inner and outer worlds. These categories act as reference points rather than rigid frameworks, allowing for individual interpretation while acknowledging the deep currents that underlie all meaning-making.
Among these existential themes:
- The fluid nature of meaning – Meaning is not fixed; it evolves through personal and collective experience.
- Storytelling as a creative act – Narratives do not just describe reality; they actively construct it.
- Beyond dogma: spirituality as an open space – The sacred is not bound by rigid doctrines but emerges through experience, symbol, and contemplation.
- Impermanence as a foundation, not a threat – Meaning must be able to transform; change is not loss, but evolution.
- The interplay between self and others – Identity and meaning arise both in solitude and in connection with the world.
The Manifesto brings meaning back to its roots, highlighting how our sense of self, purpose, and reality is shaped by recurring existential structures. It does not dictate how to engage with them but offers a path to rediscover, redefine, and reinterpret these categories in a personal way.
More Humano is not about creating meaning from nothing, but about reclaiming the ability to navigate, reshape, and reimagine the deep structures that have always given life significance.

📌 A contemporary mission
Now more than ever, it is essential to distinguish what truly defines us as human beings from what, instead, conforms to external and impersonal logics. Reclaiming the ability to choose who we want to be and how we wish to engage with the world requires an individual responsibility to create meaning—to construct a sense of existence and engage with collective plurality.
More Humano is a narrative project designed to awaken and cultivate the existential dimension in an open, participatory, and creative way, reaching out to anyone who feels the call to shape their own meaning. This is where reflection transforms into a creative spark: personal meanings give rise to identity dynamics and awareness capable of influencing every aspect of our lives.
The mission of More Humano is to inspire and stimulate the individual capacity to create meaning within existential categories. Starting from the narrative that defines this work, we seek to encourage each person to build their own, rediscovering the innate ability to create significance.
🪬 Avant-Garde narrative without dogmas
“We are not seekers of truth, but creators of meaning.”
- Agnostic approach: there is no prepackaged truth, only a plurality of narratives and perspectives. Each of us can shape our own vision without imposing it as a universal law on others.
- Absence of dogmas: No absolute truths, no impositions.
- Symbolic and esoteric language as metaphor: Not a doctrine, but an expressive “code” that makes certain intuitions more immediate and evocative. We blend ancient references with avant-garde elements into a singular narrative style.
- Openness to multiple voices: From great thinkers of the past to anyone who, in everyday life, questions the meaning of existence.
More Humano is like a forge, fueled by a narrative that takes form through symbols, images, videos, and texts, offering its own significance to existence. At the same time, we highlight ideas and works by those who, in our view, resonate with the same principles or have already expressed them in different forms, integrating them into the vision of More Humano. It is a crossroads where diverse voices meet, influence one another, and—perhaps—generate new, unexplored perspectives.
💢 Existential categories: an open map
At the core of More Humano is the exploration of how we construct meaning and engage with its plurality. This path unfolds through multiple themes and “existential categories”, such as:
The meaning of life, identity, perception of reality, authenticity and self-actualization, death and finitude, freedom and choice, love and relationships, suffering and transformation, mystical experience and transcendence, ethics and morality, knowledge and truth, consciousness and self-awareness, duality and polarity, change and impermanence, solitude and belonging, justice and injustice, ritual and symbolism, exploration and adventure, faith and skepticism, interdependence, intentionality, power and control, narrative and myth-making, good and evil, happiness, destiny, time, memory, hope, fear, transcendence, responsibility, crisis and rebirth, rationality vs. emotion, art and beauty.
This is an imperfect and ever-evolving map, ready to expand with the contributions of those who join our journey. As Carl Gustav Jung once said, “Finding a sense, a meaning makes many things bearable—perhaps all of them.”
©️ The Anvil logo: responsibility of meaning creation
The foundation upon which meaning is struck, refined, and shaped. A fixed point, enduring each blow without breaking, symbolizing the ability to withstand transformation without dissolving. It represents the confrontation with reality: one cannot escape the weight of existence, but one can choose how to shape it. A symbol of discipline and individual responsibility in the construction of meaning.
🌐 More Humano: final thoughts
More Humano is a place where human beings reclaim the ability to discover, create, and share meanings, deepening their awareness of existence.
Anyone who feels the desire to cross this threshold is welcome. To us, this work is like an open alchemical doorway, ready to ignite doubts and aspirations into new forms of meaning. Because More Humano, by its very nature, is a laboratory in constant ferment, a forge of ideas and visions—waiting only for the touch of those who dare to take up the hammer.
